What does THC Free mean?
Are you wondering about the definition of THC? It’s pretty simple. All plants in the marijuana or cannabis family are packed with chemicals called cannabinoids. There are over one hundred different cannabinoids in each plant.
Most people have only heard of the two most popular and well-known cannabinoids. These are THC and CBD.
THC is the cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effect of cannabis. In other words, THC is the part that will get you high. CBD oil, on the other hand, does not have this effect.
So, people opt for THC free products if they want to take CBD that contains no psychoactive component. Also, THC free products are legal in most places because they will not get you high.
Taking CBD oil alone can provide you with all the therapeutic benefits and effects of the marijuana plant — just without the high that comes with consuming THC.
Ingredients of CBD Oil
- Hemp-Derived CBD — CO2 Extracted Industrial Hemp Oil (Non-Psycho active (0% THC) or Full Spectrum )
- MCT Oil (carrying oil)
Our CBD oil is made from Non-GMO, Pesticide Free Industrial Hemp. It is grown and made in Colorado. Try our CBD Tincture as a great introduction to the world of CBD today.
- Simply enjoy your oil by dropping it directly on to the tongue.
- Make sure to shake the bottle of CBD oil well before using it.
- You can add our CBD oil to any of your favorite foods or healthy drinks. Everyone reacts differently to the suggested use, so you are welcome to increase or reduce the amount of CBD oil that you take as you feel appropriate.
Many of our customers buy CBD oil but do not configure the dosage correctly.
As a result, the incorrect dosage will mar the experience and is likely the primary reason why the CBD oil is not working for you. Try starting with a low dosage, as suggested on the bottle. From then on, double or triple up your dosage every two hours or until you have reached your comfort zone.
Research different dosages to understand the effects, and what you are looking for. Rather than going for a high dose straight away, and not feeling the results, try to go slow and build your way up.
Sometimes, the process requires patience, but it is better than doing incorrect dosages and not feeling the full effects like you should be.
About CBD Oil
Cannabidiol (CBD) tinctures are one of the best types of CBD hemp oil supplement.
Tinctures combine CBD Oil and MCT Oil into a liquid, making it easy to consume using a tincture dropper.
What is CBD Oil?
CBD is a whole plant Hemp Extract containing the entire range of U.S. Government patented cannabinoids.
CBD derived from Industrial Hemp Plants that contain Cannabinoids. You cannot experience any psychoactive effects or become “High or Stoned” with our CBD only products. They all contain less than 0.3% THC or 0% THC.
Every major civilization in history has recognized hemp as #1 on its list of essential plants. The ancient Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks and Romans all revered hemp as an incomparable source of food and medicine.
Now modern science is beginning to validate what the ancients all knew — and uncovering exciting discoveries about CBD. Recently (in August 2017), the FDA declared CBD to be “beneficial” and is now asking all users of CBD products for their input.
If you’re new to CBD supplements, CBD Oil is a great place to start.
Tinctures are ideal for people who would like to start with a lower concentration CBD product. They are also the most affordable CBD supplement option!
CBD tinctures are some of the best all-around CBD products. It’s hard to beat the convenience of having a few drops from a tincture as part of your morning routine or taking the travel size with you on the go to use at your discretion.

Full-Spectrum versus Isolate CBD
When you are purchasing CBD products, you have two options: full-spectrum CBD or isolate (‘regular’) CBD.
Full-spectrum CBD as hemp oil contains every cannabinoid present in the cannabis plant — cannabinol, cannabicyclol, tetra hyrdocannabivarin, and cannbichromevinaric acid, to name a few. Different cannabinoids introduce various potential benefits addressing a wide variety of ailments, both on their own, and in conjunction with one another, and with CBD.
These full-spectrum products may also contain small amounts of THC, though it should be said that industrial hemp is regulated at 0.3% THC concentration, which will generally not cause psychoactive effects. Full-spectrum CBD is created by extracting the whole source plant to oil, which brings all of the other properties and molecules along with it.
Isolate CBD like our CBD Oil, on the other hand, is precisely what it sounds like CBD alone, separated from any other cannabis compounds. It becomes isolate by cooling and extraction of oil until it forms crystals. The crystals are then taken for processing into a highly pure powder, of just CBD as a molecular compound.
Isolating the perceived valuable aspects of any substance is a common approach in the pharmaceutical model, working to maximize an ‘active ingredient’ to its utmost efficacy and safety.
However, isolated CBD like Pure THC free CBD Oil does not offer the full potential holistic benefits of the full-spectrum cbd oil products.
What difference does it make to CBD oil?
The Entourage Effect of CBD Oil
The Lautenberg Center for General Tumor Immunology in Jerusalem, in a 2015 study, noted full-spectrum CBD is capable of offering more significant levels of anti-inflammatory relief, as higher doses were administered to mice.
A group of mice given isolate CBD did not experience the same level of relief at higher doses. The study means that CBD isolate is, of course, effective, but at a specific dose, the full-spectrum product is perhaps a better option. Full-spectrum CBD retains its efficacy at any dose. As the study said, “Healing was only observed when CBD was given within a minimal dose range, whereas no beneficial effect was achieved at either lower or higher doses.”
Full-spectrum hemp oil may be more effective than CBD isolate, as it contains cannabinoids and terpenes instead of just extracted CBD. The entourage effect says that CBD creates better results when combined with the other properties from the source plant, instead of existing on its own.
What the studies and researches say about CBD
Various studies indicate that CBD, when in the presence of other plant constituents, is more potent/efficacious, concluding that: “the higher efficiency of plant extract can be explained by additive or synergistic interactions between CBD, terpenes, and the minor phytocannabinoids or non-cannabinoids presented in the extracts…
Because other phytocannabinoids, including Tetrahydrocannabivarin, Cannabigerol and Cannabichromene, as well as mono- and sesqui-terpenes, exert additional effects of therapeutic interest and the therapeutic synergy observed with plant extracts results in the requirement for a lower amount of active components, with consequent reduced adverse effects.”
In other words, a full-spectrum product often works better because you need less of it than CBD isolate, reducing side effects. In the Lautenberg study, the researchers found that even with a larger than an optimal dose of the full-spectrum product, the effectiveness was plateauing, so the therapeutic ceiling was reaching without introducing issues.
